Air France Eyes Paris to Orlando Daily Flight With A350

PARIS – Air France (AF) has launched a non-stop service connecting Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris with Orlando International Airport (MCO) as of May 21, 2025.

This prestigious French airline operates this route four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays utilizing the Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

The premium-configured A350-900 jets feature dedicated cabins for business, premium economy, and economy-class passengers, allowing Air France (AF) to cater to both leisure and corporate travelers heading to one of America’s top vacation spots.

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority hailed the initiation of this route, marking the return of non-stop services between the two cities after a gap since the previous operations.

Kevin J. Thibault, CEO of the Aviation Authority, expressed excitement about the service resumption, calling it a significant achievement for the airport.

Boaz Hulsman, Air France-KLM’s Commercial Vice President for North America, reiterated the airline’s commitment to offering seamless connectivity. “We look forward to providing passengers from Florida with a direct and convenient journey to Paris, where they can experience the elegance and award-winning service that Air France is celebrated for,” Hulsman remarked.

Early Success

Due to impressive initial ticket sales, Air France-KLM’s route strategy team has approved an increase in flight frequencies.

The airline has plans for multiple capacity enhancements throughout the upcoming winter season and beyond.

As of February 12, 2026, Air France (AF) will introduce a fifth weekly service on Thursdays, with intentions to commence daily operations starting March 29, 2026, allowing for everyday connectivity.

Full Schedule Implementation

Air France (AF) aims to reach maximum operating capacity by April 2026, with a target of 30 flights in that month.

Aviation analytics firm Cirium reports that the airline will provide over 9,700 seats between Paris and Orlando in April 2026.

This expanded service is projected to generate over 43 million available seat miles for the airline during this peak operational month, marking a significant increase from the initial four-times-weekly service launched in May 2025.

Network Integration

The new Paris-Orlando route represents Air France’s first non-stop service to this Floridian destination since it discontinued operations in 2012. Orlando International Airport (MCO) now becomes Air France’s 18th passenger gateway in the United States.

SkyTeam alliance members will enjoy enhanced connectivity options, with Delta Air Lines (DL) and Aeromexico (AM) providing connections to various destinations throughout the United States and beyond. This route will improve access for SkyTeam passengers when traveling to or from Orlando and supports local tourism initiatives.

Market Positioning

The service expansion aligns with SkyTeam’s strategy to strengthen its presence at Orlando International Airport’s international market. This approach is particularly significant given that Delta Air Lines (DL), the largest North American carrier within the SkyTeam alliance, does not operate a hub at this airport.

Local stakeholders regard this route as advantageous for boosting Orlando’s attractiveness to international tourists. The service provides direct access to Europe and bolsters the region’s tourism framework and economic development goals.

Air France Service Standards

The A350-900 fleet by Air France offers modern cabin layouts specifically designed to cater to a wide array of passenger needs.

With premium amenities, this aircraft exemplifies the airline’s dedication to maintaining its illustrious reputation for French sophistication and award-winning service.

The choice of high-capacity, long-range aircraft underscores Air France’s confidence in the route’s financial viability and its long-term growth prospects within the competitive transatlantic leisure market.
