Air France Eyes Paris to Orlando Daily Flight With A350

PARIS – Air France (AF) has launched a new nonstop service between Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris and Orlando International Airport (MCO) as of May 21, 2025.

This French flag carrier is operating the route four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, utilizing Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Air France (AF) has chosen premium-configured A350-900 jets for this service, which includes business, premium economy, and economy-class cabins. This selection caters to both leisure and business travelers, connecting them to one of the most sought-after leisure destinations in America.

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority has welcomed this route as a significant milestone in the resurgence of nonstop services between these two cities after a gap in operations.

Kevin J. Thibault, CEO of the Aviation Authority, referred to this service resumption as a considerable achievement for the airport. Boaz Hulsman, Air France-KLM’s Commercial Vice President for North America, highlighted the airline’s intention to provide effortless connectivity, stating, “We look forward to offering passengers from Florida a direct journey to Paris, or further, where they can experience the elegance and award-winning service synonymous with Air France.”

Promising Start

Air France-KLM’s route strategy team authorized frequency increases following strong initial ticket sales. The airline is planning additional capacity boosts throughout the upcoming winter season and beyond.

Beginning February 12, 2026, Air France (AF) will introduce a fifth weekly flight on Thursdays, with plans to implement daily operations starting March 29, 2026, thereby offering consistent connectivity.

Implementation of Full Schedule

By April 2026, Air France (AF) aims to reach maximum operational capacity with a planned schedule of 30 flights throughout the month.

Aviation analytics firm Cirium reports that this service will provide over 9,700 seats between Paris and Orlando during April 2026. The enhanced service is projected to generate more than 43 million available seat miles for the airline during the peak operational period, marking a significant increase from the initial four-times-weekly schedule initiated in May 2025.

Integration into the Network

This route represents Air France’s first direct link to Florida since discontinuing service in 2012, and Orlando International Airport (MCO) becomes the 18th passenger gateway for Air France in the United States.

Partners in the SkyTeam alliance, including Delta Air Lines (DL) and Aeromexico (AM), will enhance connectivity to destinations throughout the United States and further. The new route will improve access for SkyTeam passengers traveling to and from Orlando while supporting regional tourism initiatives.

Positioning in the Market

The service expansion aligns with SkyTeam’s strategy to strengthen its foothold in Orlando International Airport’s international market. This move is particularly significant, given that Delta Air Lines (DL), the largest North American carrier within SkyTeam, does not operate a hub at this airport.
