The airline sector is reevaluating its strategies in the face of aircraft delivery setbacks that threaten to slow growth. Although collaboration with aircraft manufacturers is favored, the head of the International Air Transport Association, IATA, conveyed that legal options may also be sought.

The airline industry is considering legal measures regarding aircraft delivery delays, which have significantly affected growth. IATA Director General Willie Walsh expressed on Monday that while collaboration with manufacturers is preferred, airlines are prepared to challenge any price increases imposed by planemakers as a result of tariffs. He noted, however, that there haven’t been indicators of rising aircraft prices yet.
